What the course is about:

This is an introductory / refresher course for professionals who’ve either never experienced the Repetition Word Game or those who’ve studied it to a basic level but feel like they want to re-acquaint themselves with it once again before taking more advanced classes.

What you’ll learn:

Through a series of simple but effective procedures you’ll develop the habit of sustaining your full, effortless attention on the behaviour of your partner.. This act of favouring your partner frees-up and releases your immediate physical and emotional responses as well as heightening your creative and imaginative impulses.

Requirements for the Course:

The course is not designed for those who are looking for new, advanced techniques or want to take their skills to higher levels of practice and function. However, it’s worth stating that re-investigating the basics of any technique is one of the best ways to re-assess and re-invigorate one’s relationship with any particular skill in Acting.

Amongst other things the course will cover:
• Relaxation exercises for physical and verbal freedom
• Developing easeful concentration and connection
• Developing sensitivity and empathy
• The Repetition Word Game
• Furthering the Game: from simple one-word observations to full statements
• From the mechanical to the expressive: the freedom to express a point of view
