Preparation for session
BOOKING FOR SCENE WORK IN PAIRS REQUIRES YOU TO CO-ORDINATE WITH EACH OTHER AND NOMINATE ONE OF YOU TO TO BOOK AND PAY FOR A SCENE STUDY PAIR BOOKING. WE HOPE THIS WILL AVOID THE POSSIBILTY OF OVER-BOOKING!
Actors should work in pairs, so two will decide to work together and sign up! Numbers will be limited to 3 pairs / scenes (6 actors). This is in order to give everyone sufficient time to work in depth. Scenes should be up to 10 minutes in length – no longer. Material from wherever you like – whatever your passions are! We hope that you will treat the session like the first time off- book in rehearsals, but it you need to hold your script then please feel free, so that it’s not just a memory test, but be very familiar with the scene. If you can it would be useful to give us a heads-up a couple of days beforehand as to your material and even better if you could email the scene! Email to: sessions@jbat.co.uk
The venue should be open at 5.30pm so please arrive in good time to do whatever you need to be ready. Then we can start promptly at 6pm
