The following sets out the Terms and Conditions of the Company hereby known as JBAT Theatre Ltd or JBAT Theatre Studio or other terms such as “we” “our” “us.”
Before entering into any contract with JBAT Theatre Ltd you are advised to thoroughly read through this document and only enter into a contract when you accept and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions in full.
These Terms and Conditions serve as the foundation for any contract made between you and JBAT Theatre Ltd.

- JBAT Theatre Ltd are the owners and operators of this website. Your use of this website is based on your acceptance and agreement with our Terms and Conditions.

- The minimum age for booking a class is Eighteen (18) Years Old. You may book and attend classes from your Eighteenth birthday onwards.
- We will endeavour to ensure that our site is free from viruses. We will not accept liability for any damage to or loss of information stored on your computer/phone/iPad or tablet or other equipment while you are viewing or using our website unless we are proven to be directly responsible for any damage or loss caused by our negligence. It is your responsibility to ensure your equipment is protected with the latest up-to-date anti-virus software.
- Unless stated otherwise, all our classes are designed for professional actors who have undergone some form of professional actor training and who are working or who have, in the past, worked within the Acting/Entertainment Industry.
- Before booking a class you must provide us with your email address plus other necessary information confirming the above (see section 6) via the website. You are entirely responsible for the accuracy of any personal details you input into the website. JBAT Theatre Ltd will not accept responsibility for any losses incurred by you if you have supplied incorrect, inaccurate or deliberately misleading information. By making an online booking you state that the information supplied is accurate and true. Once you have booked a place and payment has been made by you in full and has been accepted by us, you will receive a confirmation/ acceptance of your order sent to the provided email address. When you book a class, course, seminar, lecture or event, the full payment is due at the point of making the order. Upon receipt of your order we will take payment from your credit or debit card. We will not accept responsibility or liability for any delay in processing an order due to incorrect card information being entered into the payment portal. JBAT Theatre Ltd reserve the right to cancel or suspend any services to you.
- All content on our website including descriptions of classes and class prices are accurate and correct at the time of being published. If any mistake is discovered we will endeavour to correct it as soon as possible.
- Classes, courses, seminars, lectures and other aspects of training are sold subject to our right to make alterations to any advertised classes or teachers.
- Cancellation rights, refunds, transfers and re-scheduling: Bookings for classes are non-refundable, non-transferable and can only be re-scheduled no less than fourteen days before the commencement of the class. Requests for re-scheduling must be made by email to bookings@jbat.co.uk and are given purely at the discretion of The Company. Please note that the courses we provide are for professional training purposes only and as such are not bound by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Any other similar or subsequent legislation does not apply to your booking with us.
- JBAT Theatre Ltd reserves the right to cancel a class or classes:
- if there are not an adequate number of bookings to make the class viable.
- If there is insufficient staff available to teach the class.
- If the host providing the venue has to withdraw their services and cancel our bookings with them for whatever reason.
- If a typographical mistake on our part means we have given incorrect information or a class description or the price displayed is incorrect.
Should any of the above occur, JBAT Theatre Ltd will refund your payment, re-crediting your credit or debit card in full as soon as possible. We will also notify you of any alternative dates or venues for the cancelled class or course.
- Under the following conditions JBAT Theatre Ltd reserve the right to refuse you access to our services and to refund your money:
- If you have given false or misleading information on your registration form.
- If payment authorisation is refused by the bank or issuer of your payment card.
- If you breach or have previously broken our Code of Conduct or our Respect Policy.
- If you demonstrate or have demonstrated previously disruptive, unsociable or inappropriate behaviour in our classes or on the premises that are contradictory to our Code of Conduct.
- You agree to abide by our Code of Conduct
- You agree to abide by the terms of our Respect Policy
- In no event will (our Company), it’s Directors or employees be held liable to you or any third party for any indirect, punitive, consequential, exemplary, incidental or special damages. Neither will we accept liability for any losses you may incur including but not limited to personal expenses, travel or fuel expenses, hotel bookings, loss of employment, lost revenue or earnings, lost data, lost profits or employment opportunities. Our total liability extends only to the refund of the full price paid by you for a class or course.
- If you breach any of these terms and conditions resulting in JBAT Theatre Ltd suffering a loss, you agree to indemnify us against any legal actions, losses, damages, expenses, costs and/or legal fees that may occur as a result of your breach of our terms and conditions.
- JBAT Theatre Ltd reserves the right to alter and make additions to these terms and conditions if and when we deem it appropriate and necessary.
- This Website is the property of JBAT Theatre Ltd. All content is owned by us or has been licensed to us for our personal use. Any attempt to hack into, reverse-engineer, copy, plagiarise, damage, redistribute or publish any such content is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to alter the website or add material to it beyond the input of necessary details such as when registering will be deemed a violation. Use of this website does not constitute ownership or give you any rights over our content. Use of this website does not in any way suggest or constitute a working relationship or contract between us and you. Visiting or using this website does not suggest, beyond the websites basic purpose and function, a joint venture or business agreement with you in any form. Any illegal or fraudulent use of this website by you will result in immediate termination of its use and the possible reporting of such behaviour to the police as well as legal action taken against you.
- JBAT Theatre Ltd will not be held liable for any loss, damage or theft to your personal belongings. It is your responsibility to ensure your belongings are kept safe.
- Filming, photography, audio recording or any other use of electronic recording systems are strictly prohibited in our classes unless agreed both with the tutor and actors and then only as a part of a scene or exploration. The recording of our classes for upload to Social Media platforms is also strictly prohibited.
- Alcohol, illegal and non-prescription drugs are strictly prohibited in our classes. In scenes or acting explorations any potential harmful or hazardous substances must be substituted with a safe and harmless alternative.
- Smoking, vaping and the use of herbal cigarettes is strictly forbidden in our classes.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that any objects or props brought in to class are safe to use and will not pose a hazard to other attendees. Unsafe electrical items, Sharp knives, blades and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. Electric or gas powered cooking hobs, gas cylinders are also prohibited.
- Highly combustible materials or chemicals such as white spirit, industrial cleaning solutions or other powerful chemicals are strictly forbidden as are slow-burning noxious materials or hazardous gasses. Fire or flame are strictly forbidden in our classes.

In submitting a completed registration form I agree to the following conditions:
I fully accept the terms and conditions of JBAT Theatre Ltd. I fully accept that these terms may, from time to time, be altered by the owners but my acceptance will remain valid and that the current Terms and Conditions will be available to me on the JBAT website.
I appreciate and uphold the privacy, rights and needs of fellow participants whilst engaged in a class. I agree to abide by any Health and Safety guidance offered by a tutor to maximise a safe environment to work in.
